VAC service changes in Asia, Asia Pacific and the Americas
The Government of Canada announces Visa Application Centers (VAC) in Asia, Asia Pacific and the Americas will require Canadian Visa Applicants to submit biometrics starting November 2, 2018. The applicants must schedule an appointment and pay extra fees for their submissions which vary based on location.
VACs located in Perth, Australia and Surabaya, Indonesia will be closed permanently on November 30, 2018. All VACs across India will be re-located to new premises in the respective cities. Check the schedule and the new address below.
The VACs’ services will be provided as a package. They are:
- Submitting paper applications;
- Sending applicant’s documents (passport) and returning them to the applicant;
- Collecting biometrics (fingerprints and photograph) by appointment and/or walk-in.
