Draw #107: A new mark to the Canadian Immigration History
A new record comes out in its recent draw held on December 19th. The Government of Canada keeps its high number of Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this round of invitations what puts the total number of invited candidates in 2018 at 89,900. Altogether 3,900 Express Entry candidates were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence, with the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 439. Despite that, the Express Entry Annual Target for this year is 74,900 invitations and it has been overtaken 3 draws ago.
All candidates who submitted their profile before the tie-break February 6, 2018 at 19:31:37 UTC, with CRS score above 439 received and ITA in this invitation round. The CRS score also drops to one of the lowest scores of the year. Although, if the score is still high for some immigration plans, keep in mind that there are several ways for candidates to improve their scores: one of them is including a provincial nomination that results in 600 additional CRS points. By the way, linking Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) have been extremely active and innovative in 2018.
