BC PNP opens the Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot to communities
To support balanced and strong economic development throughout the province, the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has introduced the Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot.
The Pilot aims to support regional communities to attract entrepreneurs with a desire to start businesses, create jobs and settle in regional centers and contribute to the development of the local economy.
Community support is critical to the successful establishment, settlement and integration of foreign entrepreneur talent. With the support of local community members, immigrant entrepreneurs can flourish and succeed in the communities where they will reside and establish their business.
BC PNP will conduct more frequent draws for the Regional Pilot. In addition, communities can access our concierge services for dedicated immigration support.
The pilot creates an innovative partnership between communities and the provincial government to attract, recruit, select, and integrate foreign entrepreneurs to become new British Columbians.
