Draw #104: Express Entry Annual Target is overtaken
The Government of Canada keeps its record mark in its recent draw held on November 15th. Altogether 3,900 Express Entry candidates were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence, with the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 449.
All candidates who submitted their profile before the tie-break September 16, 2018 at 12:41:42 UTC, with CRS score above 449 received and ITA in this invitation round.
The Express Entry Annual Target for this year is 74,900 invitations and it has been overtaken. So far, 78,100 ITAs were issued by IRCC. Despite that, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is less than 8,000 invitations away from breaking the Express Entry record of 86,023 total invitations set last year.
The CRS score increases in relation to the last draw, but there are several ways for candidates to improve their scores: one of them is including a provincial nomination that results in 600 additional CRS points. By the way, linking Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) have been extremely active and innovative in 2018.
