Draw #103: October has the largest ITA number of the year
The Government of Canada keeps its record mark in its recent draw held on October 29th. Altogether 3,900 Express Entry candidates were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence, with the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 442.
It is the third draw of the month which combined with the high ITA issued number, highlights October as the best month for immigration. 11,700 candidates received an Invitation to Apply in those draws.
All candidates who submitted their profile before the tie-break October 16, 2018 at 06:09:04 UTC, with CRS score above 442 received and ITA in this invitation round.
The Express Entry Annual Target for this year is 74,900 invitations. So far, 74,200 ITAs were issued by IRCC. So, the Government is almost there.
Despite the fact of the CRS score increases in relation to the last draw, there are several ways for candidates to improve their scores: one of them is including a provincial nomination that results in 600 additional CRS points. By the way, linking Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) have been extremely active and innovative in 2018.
