Draw #101: Government keeps its largest ITA number of the year
The Government of Canada keeps its record mark in its recent draw held on October 3rd. Altogether 3,900 Express Entry candidates were invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence, with the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 445.
All candidates who submitted their profile before the tie-break October 2, 2018 at 04:02:11 UTC, with CRS score above 445 received and ITA in this invitation round.
The Express Entry Annual Target for this year is 74,900 invitations. So far, 66,400 ITAs were issued by IRCC. If the Government keeps its high number of invitations, the Annual Target will be overcome in the next three rounds of invitations.
Despite the fact of the CRS score increase, there are several ways for candidates to improve their scores: one of them is including a provincial nomination that results in 600 additional CRS points. By the way, linking Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) have been extremely active and innovative in 2018.
