Canada invites 3,500 Express Entry candidates in April 11 draw
In the most recent federal draw, 3,500 candidates were invited by Canada from Express Entry pool with a minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of 444. The IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) implemented for this draw the tie-break procedure what prioritizes the candidates who have been in the pool longer.
The interested candidates need to first meet the eligibility criteria for one of the three immigration programs – the Federal Skilled Worker (FSWC), Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) – to enter the pool. Once their Express Entry profile is completed, they will be assigned a CRS score based on their education, language ability, work experience, and other criteria. When a candidate obtains an Invitation to Apply, he/she can apply for Permanent Residence to IRCC.
